Virginia Welcomes Tim Kaine

The new Governor of Virginia Tim Kaine

On a very raining Saturday afternoon, thousands of people huddled in bleachers to watch the swearing in of Virginia's three top elected state officials.

But, why was this swearing in different than other Virginia swearing ins?
They are usually done in the Virginia capitol building in Richmond, but, the Capitol buildng is under construction, so this year the inaugural ceramonies took place in the original Virginia capital in Williamsburg Virginia.

First official to recieve applause was departing Governor and a possible 2008 Democratic presidential candidate Mark Warner.
